(AP) ? Keegan Bradley shot a 10-under 60 for a course record even with consecutive bogeys in the middle of his opening round at the Byron Nelson Championship on Thursday.

Bradley was 7 under his last eight holes, including an eagle 3 at No. 7 before back-to-back birdies to end his round. That came after his two bogeys ? he missed the fairway at No. 18 and had a par putt that lipped the hole at No. 1 to start his back nine.

The 60 matched the lowest round at the Nelson, but was the first at the TPC Four Seasons course. Arron Oberholser shot 60 in 2006, and Sam Snead in 1957.

That gave Bradley a three-stroke lead over 2011 Masters champion Charl Schwartzel among those who played morning rounds.
